
Elana Feldman, PhD
Associate Professor of Management, UMass Lowell
Elana Feldman is an Associate Professor of Management in the Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell and a former Visiting Scholar at Harvard Business School. Dr. Feldman is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Center for Positive Organizations at the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan). She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Boston University and a B.A. in Anthropology/Biology from Brown University. Dr. Feldman's research examines people's experiences of time and interpersonal relationships in work settings. She is a founder and steering committee member of the Positive Relationships at Work (PRW) Microcommunity (https://positiverelationshipsatwork.org). She is also a Faculty Affiliate at the Center for Positive Organizations at the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan). Her research has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Organization Science, Academy of Management Annals, Human Relations, and MIT Sloan Management Review. Dr. Feldman's research has been covered by Fast Company, Business Insider, BBC, and World Economic Forum (among others). Prior to her academic career, Dr. Feldman worked as a consultant and market analyst, specializing initially in the biopharmaceutical industry and later in talent management and leadership.
